Social-Emotional Learning Support Providers (SELSP)

In 2016, the Social Emotional Learning Support Providers (SELSP) team was created with 3 teachers supporting 14 elementary schools districtwide. The goal was to teach and enhance students' social and emotional needs. Since its inception, the team has grown to 9 credentialed teachers and school counselors supporting a growing need districtwide. The Social-Emotional Learning Support Provider directly supports students and teachers. Their support is aimed at non-therapeutic interventions to teach and enhance social-emotional growth in the LEUSD's 15 Elementary schools.
