LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan)

About LCAP

The district's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Annual Update is an annually recurring three-year planning document that identifies specific goals and actions to benefit students in eight state priority areas. The District's LCAP meets the requirements of the State of California's Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). The current LCAP plan may be viewed or downloaded below.

Public Hearing Recap: LCAP 2018/19 draft consideration

On June 14, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 545 Chaney Street, Lake Elsinore, the Board of Trustees held a Public Hearing on the Draft Local Control Accountability Plan for July 1, 2018-June 30, 2020 (LCAP).


The Draft 2018-2020 LCAP is posted at the link below for public review. A copy is also available for inspection in the Fiscal Support Services Department during summer office hours (Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 a.m.). Click on the agenda link to review full agenda of June 14, 2018.


The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) provides school districts the flexibility and freedom on how they spend educational dollars for their students. To assist us in our effort, parents, students, LEUSD staff participated in a committee process to develop goals that align to the eight priority areas adopted by the State Board of Education.
