Full-Day Preschool (3-4 years old)

Full Day    Head Start    CSPP
Center-based program for qualifying families of children 3 and 4 years old.
Hours range from 6 to 10.5 hours per day. Days range from 170 to 215 days per year.
* Based on income. Families receiving CalFresh, CalWorks, or SNAP automatically qualify!

Head Start
The full-day Head Start offers:
 
6 hours per day
170 days per year
No school last Friday of month
8:15 am - 2:15 pm

CSPP
The full-day State Preschool offers:
 
6 hours per day
180 days per year
Monday through Friday
8:15 am - 2:15 pm

FAMILY NEED & FAMILY FEE CALCULATOR
California State Preschool ProgramFamilies applying for the Full-Day State Preschool Program must establish a family need for services. Once all eligible families meeting the need criteria have been enrolled, our program may enroll income-eligible families without a need. ** What is a family need?
Each parent in the family must meet a need criterion from the list below:
  • The child is receiving child protective services;
  • The child is identified as being abused, neglected or exploited or at risk thereof;
  • The family is experiencing homelessness;
  • The parent is employed;
  • The parent is seeking employment;
  • The parent is enrolled in vocational training;
  • The parent is enrolled in educational programs;
  • The parent is incapacitated; or
  • The parent is seeking permanent housing for family stability
