On Patriot Day Tuesday, September 11, 2018, several LEUSD schools will host an annual salute to U.S. service men and woman, first responders, and others who have honorably served our country. Ceremonies include student speeches and writings, recognition of active, reserve, and retired service members and their families, and patriotic displays.

 

Patriot Day, by Presidential proclamation, is traditionally a day of volunteer service and remembrance of the infamous terrorist attack on the U.S. on September 11, 2001.
