Last night during the LEUSD Board meeting our Trustees recognized Sue for her exemplary service to the students and families of LEUSD.

 

Mrs. Moore is a kindergarten teacher, at Withrow Elementary School, and is in her 60th year of teaching! Her diamond year!

 

Her influence and impact on students, staff, and families have truly made a difference at Withrow and LEUSD.

Sue is a lifelong learner and is always willing to try new strategies and technologies to meet the diverse needs of her students. She has a wealth of knowledge and provides us with great stories of how education has changed over the years. She is calm and even-keeled, and her sense of humor is refreshing in our stressful work lives.

 

She is always up for new challenges, and her words of wisdom have made her a mentor to all of the staff at Withrow.

 

We sure enjoyed celebrating with her last night!
