Tools We Use In Lake Elsinore Unified School District

First and foremost, LEUSD seeks to keep their students' data safe, secure, and compliant with state and federal law, as well as LEUSD Board Policies.  The tools listed below are compliant with COPPA, CIPA, FERPA, and AB 1584.  More information on these different requirements designed to keep our students' data safe can be found on the right hand side of this page.

  • Canvas-
    • Canvas is our Learning Management System, where students can access online resources and turn in work.  One of the things that make Canvas so valuable to the educational process is the way it works with other tools that are teachers in Lake Elsinore Unified School District use, such as some of their curricular materials, Nearpod, EdPuzzle, and Office 365 documents. Students as well as parents can access their Canvas accounts at https://leusd.instructure.com/.

  • Clever-
  • Edmentum/PLATO-
    • PLATO Courseware is used at some schools for online curriculum.  PLATO is accessed through Clever, our Single Sign-On.  This program
  • Infinite Campus-
  • IO Assessment-IO
    • Assessment is our assessment data management system. In Lake Elsinore Unified School District, we use IO Assessment to administer teacher-created assessments along with measuring student progress and performance. Teachers and students access IO Assessment at https://www.eadms.com/
  • Nearpod & Flocabulary-
    • Currently, student accounts are not required for the use of Nearpod but in some instances, they are linked through Canvas if your teachers are using them to provide content and review student understanding of concepts through the assessment tools that Nearpod makes available to teachers.  This Canvas/Nearpod link provides the teacher with aligned participation reports that help them to isolate each student's understanding of the concepts being shared through Nearpod.
