Tim Bedley, WES 4-5 grade teacher, Riverside County's Teacher of the Year 2013Mr. Tim Bedley, a fourth-fifth grade GATE teacher at Wildomar Elementary, received the thrill of his life when a routine assembly turned into a surprise tribute to Riverside County’s elementary school teacher of the year. Bedley is one of three teachers who were visited by Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Kenneth M. Young this week, formally announcing the Teacher of the Year 2013 winners. The three winners will now compete at the state level. State winners will be announced in October 2012. State finalists move into the National competition, with the National Teacher of the Year to be announced in May 2013. View the news release (PDF).

Two Q&A fact sheets that describe impacts of state budget cuts on transportation next year are available: March Q&A | April Q&A. Questions? Please contact the Transportation Department at (951) 253-7830.
