Volunteers Needed for Clean Extreme!
The City of Lake Elsinore's annual Clean Extreme cleanup event is on Saturday, April 26, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. High School students may earn community service hours by volunteering for this event. Volunteer Check-in is in the Cultural Center, 183, North Main Street, in Historic Downtown Lake Elsinore. All volunteers are welcome and a free BBQ for all participants will be held at The Diamond Stadium immediately following. Lakeside Rotary Players present...You Can't Take It with You
America's cherished Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy classic You Can't Take it with You will be performed by the Lakeside Rotary Players on April 18 & 19, and on April 25 & 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rotary Performing Arts Center. Ticket information/orders call (951) 496-6610. All ticket pricing is shown by clicking on the calendar performance dates (at right).
13th annual Unity 5k/10k & Fun Run!
Entries for family members of all ages are now being accepted for the 13th annual Unity in the Community 5k/10k Run & Walk, to be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014. A children's fun run is also included. T shirts and food are provided to participants, and prizes will be awarded. Visit lakeelsinoreunity.com to register online. Check in is at 6:30 a.m., 5k/10 k starts at 7:45 a.m., and the kids run begins at 9 a.m. Proceeds are donated back to schools, so come enjoy the scenery and the spectacle!
