School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)

The School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) outlines how each LEUSD school will improve student learning and support student success.

Each year, the plan is developed and reviewed by the School Site Council (SSC), a group of staff, parents, community members, and, at the secondary level, students. This team works together to review data, set goals, and plan how to use available resources to support students.

A group of students gathers around a red table with brochures and a camera in the foreground, while other people and white tents are visible on a grassy field in the background.

The SPSA describes:

  • How the school will measure progress toward its goals
  • How state and federal funds will be used to improve student achievement

The plan is approved annually by the SSC and the LEUSD Board of Trustees.
