Weather Monitoring

New Weather Monitoring System

Lake Elsinore Unified School District has installed the Perry Weather Monitoring System to support the health and safety of our students and staff during outdoor activities. We have installed six weather monitoring stations across the district to ensure comprehensive coverage and provide accurate, real-time data. This system tracks temperature, air quality, humidity, and severe weather—including lightning—to help schools make informed decisions about outdoor activities. Each school has access to data from the station closest to them geographically, ensuring conditions are relevant and localized.

Please refer to the Weather Monitoring Station Location Chart to determine which station is geographically closest to your child’s school site.
