Nearpod - Another resource that offers free lesson plans with a free membership. Found out more here.
Canvas- Canvas is perhaps the most popular Learning Management System in the world. In addition, it houses 100's of free lesson plans and full courses in for all grades and subjects, including Elementary Social Studies. Accounts are free and resources and courses are added regularly from teachers around the world under the "Commons" option. Learn more about his incredible free program here.
Newsela- Teachers LOVE Newsela! This website updates everyday and offers nonfiction articles and stories about the most current events. Articles are available for all reading levels. Learn more here
