Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
Student Meals Are FREE for the 2021-2022 School Year
USDA National school meal waiver has been extended! Breakfast and lunch combos are FREE to all enrolled LEUSD students. One breakfast and one lunch per school day.
New! Cashless Lunch Lines!
Food Services is going cashless. USDA National school meal waiver was extended for the 2021-2022 school year. This waiver allows Food Services to provide FREE meals for all enrolled LEUSD students. Any additional meals will be charged to student(s) School Pay account. Transactions must be cashless to ensure food safety and sanitation. Please use our online payment system to deposit money on your student(s) account.
Changes to Grab & Go Meal Program
Wednesday, July 28, was the final day of distribution for our Grab-and-Go meals program. The program, created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, allowed Food Services staff to make sure students were fed, even during our extended closure.

Summer Meal Programs
Students attending summer school will have meals available at school on their way home from campus. These meals should be consumed at home.
