Preschool Distance Learning

Dear Preschool Parents,

LEUSD will start the 2020-2021 school year in the Phase 1 District-wide Distance Learning Model—this is a short-term educational setting that is temporarily in place while all students in the school district are required to learn from home. When allowable under state and local health standards, LEUSD would then transition to PHASE 2, returning students to campus under a hybrid model (a combination of classroom learning with some online instruction).

During the first weeks of school, preschool parents will receive paper lesson plans using the Parents as Teachers curriculum.  Teachers will communicate with parents via phone calls to go over the delivery of services.

Preschool teachers will eventually be utilizing CANVAS, ZOOM, and LEARNING GENIE to educate, interact, and communicate with you and your preschool students.

Please feel free to explore these links as we prepare for Distance Learning.
