LEUSD uses the SmartFindExpress by eSchoolSolutions online system for managing and reporting an absence.To Create an Absence in SmartFindExpress, complete these required steps:
- Select the location
- Select the classification
- Select the reason for this absence
- Select Start and End dates for your absence
- Select Start and End times for your absence
- Request a particular substitute
- Enter special instructions for the substitute to view
- Select the Continue button
- Complete
Note: You must receive a Job Number for your absence to be recorded in the system and to receive your substitute.
