Reporting an Absence

LEUSD uses the SmartFindExpress by eSchoolSolutions online system for managing and reporting an absence.To Create an Absence in SmartFindExpress, complete these required steps:

Select the location
Select the classification
Select the reason for this absence
Select Start and End dates for your absence
Select Start and End times for your absence
Request a particular substitute
Enter special instructions for the substitute to view
Select the Continue button
Complete

Note: You must receive a Job Number for your absence to be recorded in the system and to receive your substitute.
