Gifted and Talented Education

Lake Elsinore’s administrators, teachers, and parents recognize that gifted and talented students possess unique characteristics. The LEUSD GATE program is designed to:

• provide activities which are differentiated in nature and require higher-level, logical, and creative thinking
• empower students to use technology and advanced research tools to enhance their learning
• develop organization, independent study skills and social skills to enable them to work productively alone or with others
• encourage students to set personal goals and to develop educational plans
