Overview

An adjunct to the Superintendent's Office, we support district communications, community involvement, media inquiries and public outreach. Additional services include community partnerships, flyer approval requests (see sidebar), photo assignments, local government relations, business partnerships, emergency notifications, marketing, publications, Web site and social media administration, video production, and special assignments.

In an emergency, staff serves as the Public Information Officer (PIO), performing communications and media related duties under the incident command system.
